Frequently Asked Questions for Print Designers

Can I print on black neoprene fabric?
No. Dye-sublimation ink is transparent. If you sublimate colored ink onto a black fabric, the black background will swallow the color completely. The design will be invisible. You must always start with a bright white polyester fabric. We sublimate the background color and the pattern at the same exact time.

Will the heat press destroy the stretch of the neoprene?
If you use our materials, the stretch remains perfect. Our high-density rubber core and water-based adhesives are incredibly thermally stable. They survive the heat press without turning stiff or brittle. The fabric and the rubber will maintain their full four-way elasticity.

Why does my printed fabric peel off the rubber after heat pressing?
